The Temple

"...For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: ‘I will live with them and walk among them..." 2 Corinthians 6:16

The power, redemption and forgiveness dwells within you, if you believe and claim Christ as your savior! What more must you hear? Where you walk, He is with you. You go, He goes too! He NEVER leaves you!

Do you often feel like God is absent from your life, missing or gone. Do you often feel alone? If you know Christ as your savior, believe me when I say, He has never left. The question to ask is, "Did you close the door, shut Him out or forget to communicate?" When you feel alone, it’s not because He is gone, it’s because you have strayed from Him. You’ve stepped out of the temple!
***If you do not know Christ, now is as good a time as any. Your sin separates you from God and is causing that feeling of loneliness in your life. People will fail you, friends may betray you, but Christ will always be there for you. If you want to know Jesus Christ as your personal savior, ask Him into your heart right now!***
Look at your life, your actions, how you spend your time? How much time is spent with your Lord? Trust me, you WON’T feel alone if you spend time with Him! God desires us to build up His kingdom. This building starts with the building of our temple, our life. When we are founded, on the rock, our temple is strong. We can only be effective to touch the world for Christ when our temple is stable. Check the walls, the floors and the ceiling of your temple...is it shaking or solid?

Whatever your answer, either continue to allow Him who dwells in you to continue the construction in your life or go back to Him (He is waiting to see your commitment and dedication to Him).

Let this be your prayer today:
Dear Lord, I thank you today that I have the living Holy Spirit in me. I desire your construction in my life, asking that you build up the living temple in me. I want to be a rock, a solid foundation for those around me. I desire all of my days to walk with you, I extend my hand to yours. Lord I choose to follow you today. You will never leave me or forsake me, thank you for your promise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Without a temple, you WILL get rained on!

In Him, "E"
