Three Questions

"Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interest of others." Philippians 2:4

When you are driven, focussed or generally excited about something, you usually give it your all! Many times you will stopping at nothing, spare no expense to accomplish your task.

Ask yourself these questions:
What motivates you to act?
What are you passionate about?
What makes something worthwhile?
Now, write down your answers (right after the question) and look at them for awhile.

What do your answers look like. Where are you focussing? Are you only passionate about things in or related to your life? We are born selfish beings and we live a life where the world says "Take, take, take." Is that what you hear inside your head?

When you are laboring for others let it be with the same zeal as if it were for yourself. Is it hard to love, give and sacrifice for others? Yes, of course it is, if we try to do it on our own! We can only love and give to others when we are doing it in Christs love. Christ was an example of selfless-living. Follow his lead. This world is looking for role models, heroes and someone to emulate. Let your choice be HIM!

True happiness, joy and love will come when you GIVE YOURS AWAY!!!

Let this be your prayer today:
Dear Lord, may I see others needs and interests and labor to help them. I acknowledge I need your strength and love to pull this off. Without you my actions will lead to selfish living. I pray now that I will see with your eyes and feel with your heart, so that I may see and feel the burden and pain for those around me. Let my motivations be your motivations, let my passions be your passions and let my worth be your worth. Let your love pour out to others around me. In Jesus name, Amen.
Focus on self...leads so loneliness and sadness.

Focus on others...leads to a joy-filled life and happiness.
