Fear Not!

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

Sometimes while driving, looking at a beautiful scenery or my new baby niece, I am overwhelmed with an "ah" and "amazement" for God. He is more than a provider, protector, friend, father, He is the source of all life!

He is our source of strength and courage too. Do you go to Him for these things, or do you rely on your own power? What are you afraid of? Do you fear GOD NOT TAKING CARE OF YOU? When you don't rely in Him, that is what you are stating? God hears, "I'm sorry but I am just going to do it myself, I don't need you." Hmm....

If you do fail or continually struggle, do you ever wonder why? Ask yourself, was He involved? Life is scary, full of fear and darkness. You wouldn't walk into the darkness without an experienced guide and map. God create the earth and everything in it and on it. And He is the only one who truly knows how to move around this earth without stumbling. Not only does He know the way through the fearful darkness, He left us a guide and a book to get through it...the Holy Spirit and the Bible. Why not just the Bible you ask? Because we need a guide to direct us where to go, move, study, work, live and play.

You have nothing to fear in this life, except the fear of living life without Christ. Without Christ, the world is a dark place, the future is uncertain and the fears are many. In this dark place is a deadening cold that runs through your body, which brings the fear of Satan and his warriors. How do you fight Satan and his cold darkness? First, by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior you are washed clean by His blood and receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit warms your body from the cold attacks of the evil one. By staying in prayer and in the Word, the Bible acts as a lamp unto your feet guiding your way in the darkness. Without Christ you have everything to fear. Yet the Almighty said, "...fear not..." Are you listening?

Let this be your prayer today:

Dear Lord, today I praise you for your conquering all evil. When Christ arose from his grave, the victory was won. May I live with His victory in my heart and let it show in my daily life and actions. You are my strength and courage in all situations, I do not want control. Drive my life, steer my direction, fuel my fire. Let me praise you today with my life. In Jesus name, Amen.

Do you fear things? Well, if you do the things you fear, the death of fear will be certain!

In Him, "E"
