Enjoy Life With Jesus

By Johnny Angel

Dear friends,

This is something that one of my friends wrote and sent me. He wrote it while he was working on his journal. I think it is great that God can speak to us wherever we are. That is how God wants things to be. He has so much to share with us if we will just take a little time each day to talk to Him in prayer!

God will guide us through anything we encounter in life if we have faith in Him. We have faith that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and on the third day was risen again. He conquered death, hell, and the grave for us, and having faith and believing through Jesus we are saved. By accepting the Son, we are accepting the Father.

If we have faith all things are possible for if we have faith, or as Jesus says, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move." Matthew 17:20.

Faith is dead without action. "Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."Heb. 11:1. It is easy to say I believe in God, but part of having faith is living how He wants us to live, by living as He wants you to live you are showing that you have faith in what God has told us to do, and ultimately, faith in Him.

There is no in the middle of right or wrong. You can live for God and help him, even living for God is a great help within itself for other people watch you and by your actions will they let their actions be influenced.

There is no in between. If you feel you are living a life that is somewhat in the middle then you need to change. Because there is no in the middle. You cannot please God and man, so if you're doing both then you must be doing something wrong.

One example is take the two great composers Bach, and the other Handel, both were born at the same time and both were famous composers. Bach wrote over a thousand pieces of music, and almost all of them were for the church. He had children and led what most would consider a good religious, normal life.

Handel on the other hand was a bachelor. He stayed out late drinking, often got into fights etc. He also made a great deal of money and performed before great amounts of people and would be considered famous by our means.

While they were both alive Handel was much more famous than Bach was. If you mentioned Bach's name, not many people knew who you were talking about, but everyone knew who Handel was.

Now all of these centuries later, after both are passed on, who does everyone remember? Bach. In fact, Bach is considered one of the two greatest compsers of all time, the other being Beethoven.

Net time you see all of the "sinners" and people doing bad things remember that just because they seem to be leading what would appear to be a "better" life of popularity and fortune, they actually are not. To enjoy real life, live it the way Jesus intended for you to live it by following Him!
